Echeck payments have been around for years, but have become more widely accepted in the past two years. An Echeck is a type of direct debit where the purchaser validates their checking account and transfers the money directly to a seller for goods or services. One of the reasons echecks have become more popular is thanks to people's use of a PayPal store.
